Studio Awards
TRUE PRODUCER
Intrigue’s Ultimate Studio Award! Studios competing in multiple genres and at least 20 group entries, will qualify to win Intrigue’s True Producer Award. The highest scoring entry from each qualified studio will be awarded the True Producer Award. ALL competing dancers in the winning entry will be rewarded with free access to the current season Nationals convention classes PLUS the winning entry registers at 20% off for Nationals! *Qualifying studios can only be awarded with either the True Director or True Producer award per event. Award is non-transferable to dancers that may differ from Regional winner to National competitor.
TRUE DIRECTOR
Intrigue’s VIP Studio Award! Studios competing in multiple genres and at least 15 group entries, will qualify to win Intrigue’s True Director Award. The highest scoring entry from each qualified studio will be awarded the True Director Award. ALL competing dancers in the winning entry will be rewarded with a 50% discount off the the current season Nationals convention classes PLUS the winning entry registers at 20% off for Nationals! *Qualifying studios can only be awarded with either the True Director or True Producer award per event. Award is non-transferable to dancers that may differ from Regional winner to National competitor.
VISIONARY AWARD
Our Visionary Award has received an extraordinary upgrade! Visionary winners at each weekend will now perform on Sunday at the Showcase with custom lighting designed by the Choreographer/Teacher or Studio Owner! Group entries are awarded by Intrigue judges for most creative and breath taking performance in a group entry within the eligible studio. Studios with at least 20 Group entries at a single regional event are automatically guaranteed a Visionary Award and will be chosen from the Studios group entries by the Judges. *Lighting is limited to 7 cues, and paperwork must be turned in by the given deadline.
CHOREOGRAPHY AWARDS
We understand choreographing for each age division has its own set of challenges and triumphs. We are happy to announce that we are recognizing best overall group entry Choreographers from each age division!
JUDGES' CHOICE
Judges' Choice is handpicked from our panel of Judges. Winners at each event will re-perform on Sunday at the Showcase! Studios winning the Visionary Award will be ineligible for Judges Choice. Studios that bring a minimum 15 entries consisting of at least 7 group entries are automatically guaranteed a Judges' Choice Award.
Transcendent Studio
Transcendent Studio Award recipients are chosen from qualifying studios by the Intrigue Team. Winners will be chosen based off of how much the studio embraces all aspects of Intrigue. Intrigue strives to build opportunities that spark creativity by giving emerging artists a platform to explore. From convention to competition, and improv to imagination, we focus on the encouragement of individuality and challenge dancers to cultivate their own journeys. This award serves to recognize studios that share this passion.
